Background
It is time consuming to process invoices. First, a company needs to submit their invoice. Then, the receiving company needs to check. Then, they pull out information and put it into other systems. This may happen 100s of times per day. In some companies it is a full-time job for multiple people to handle this.
Main Features:
This proof of concept uses AI vision to speed up things. When it receives an invoice, the AI pulls out the needed information. A human can review and edit that information. Then, a human can submit it. At this point, it could integrate with many systems and automatically pass information on.
In this POC, the AI is looking for the company, how much money is due, when it is due, and some other basic things.
Future Vision:
In a future version, this could be updated to do lots of things. The invoice could be received automatically. Maybe it connects to an email or e-fax platform to get the invoice. Then, it uses AI vision to extract the information. And, the company could even have it automatically sent to a number of other apps.
The AI can pull out any information needed from the invoice. It can send part or all of that to different systems, too. It would be your choice whether you want this to happen automatically, or have an AI do it all for you. This would all happen instantly and would cost virtually nothing to process.
